Production Manager/ Manufacturing Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Operations Manager to oversee and optimize our production operation processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient operations, maintaining quality control, and driving continuous improvement in our manufacturing facility. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and a hands-on approach to managing daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure production targets and quality standards are met.
2. Optimize resources to meet customer order fulfilment.
3. Coordinate with other departmental heads in meeting common company objectives.
4. Develop and implement production improvement plans to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
5. Monitor and maintain production schedules, ensuring the optimization of resources to meet customer order fulfilment and on-time delivery of products.
6. Manage and lead a team of production staff, including training, performance evaluation, and motivation.
7. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
8. Optimize manufacturing processes through continuous improvement initiatives.
9. Collaborate with other departments such as logistics, procurement, and quality control to enhance overall operations.
10. Prepare for and participate in internal/external quality audits, investigations, and corrective/preventive actions.
11. Implement continuous improvement initiatives using Operational Excellence tools for root cause analysis and issue resolution.
12. Ensure accurate inventory control on the production shop floor.
13. Ensure safe and proper housekeeping on the production shop floor.
14. Drive continuous improvement in the production packaging-related processes.
15. Ensure compliance with ISO/API procedures, customer quality standards, and all other regulatory requirements.
16. Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions.
17. Prepare reports on production performance, downtime analysis, and operational improvements.
18. Maintain equipment and machinery by coordinating with the maintenance team to ensure minimal downtime.

Experience Required:

1. Strong knowledge of production manufacturing planning, process improvement, and quality control in an oil and gas metal working environment.
2. Knowledge in CNC Machine, tooling, and insert.
3. Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
5. Proficiency in production management software and data analysis.
6. Strong understanding of workplace safety and compliance regulations.
7. Ambitious and determined to drive continuous improvement.

Education/Qualification:

1. Diploma in Manufacturing, Engineering, or Operations Management.
2. Minimum 8-10 years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
