Reporting to the Production Supervisor and leading the Production operators.
Achieve the Output in timely completion of production plan & requirement.
Scheduling and assigning adequate resources, monitoring progress, and resolving problems.
Prepare Handler Equipment for production if not enough capacity.
Follow customer disposition at Hold lot and Low Yield. Lots to release, retest reject, ICOS scan, 100% OQA, 100% inspection when customer gives disposition.
Maintain a clean and safe working area with housekeeping standards for employees and ensure that they conform to safety rules and regulations.
Lead and/or participate in lean and continuous improvement project initiatives.
Work closely with other Shift Leaders to ensure production handovers are effectively communicated.
Support technicians on machine troubleshooting.
Support improvement projects with the process engineering team (cost/yield/machine UPH).
Provide technical support for production and maintenance teams for basic machine issue recovery.
Create and revise systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices and requesting/implementing change.
Any additional tasks as assigned by the manager or management.
Requirements:
Minimum Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years of experience in either a technical environment or manufacturing industry.
Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience for a team of technical staff (technicians/operators).
Prior hands-on experience in Test Production manufacturing (i.e., mechanical/electrical troubleshooting).
Able to perform 8-hour rotating shifts (both day & night shift) or 12-hour rotating shifts (both day & night shift) when business needs.
Able to demonstrate good communication, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
Experience in implementing continuous improvement projects (Lean/Kaizen) and demonstrate resource planning capability.
