Production Engineer (MNC I Manufacturing Process Flow)

• Working day: Monday to Friday
• Working hours: 8am to 5pm

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee activities in the finishing department, ensuring production schedules are on track and products meet quality requirements.
• Manage section heads, assign tasks, set goals and evaluate performances.
• Build a collaborative environment and encourage teamwork.
• Provide training to develop staff as well as conduct reviews and manage disciplinary actions.
• Improve and maintain 5S and proper housekeeping.
• Oversee and complete production schedule objectives.
• Analyze production schedules and manage manpower.
• Build flexibility in production to meet ever changing requirements in high-mix low-volume environment.
• Monitor and manage attendance and overtime.
• Manage production processes to maintain consistent quality.
• Implement and manage in-process inspections for monitoring.
• Participate and address investigations, RCA and corrective/preventive actions.
• Conduct regular inspections and enforce WSHE regulations.
• Carry out risk assessments and draft WI, SWPs to identify and mitigate hazards.
• Coordinate with all other departments in areas such as training, maintenance, etc. to avoid unplanned downtime.
• Prepare reports on production indicators for monitoring and review.
• Communicate employee concerns, suggestions upwards.
• Communicate strategic objectives, directions downwards.
• Any other tasks assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Min 3 years of working experience in production in a Manufacturing (High Mix Low Volume) environment.
• Good understanding of manufacturing process flow and supporting functions.
• Knowledge of hazardous substances is essential.
