Production Engineer (Delivery Fulfilment & Supplier Management)- Aerospace

Product Engineer (Portfolio Owner)

Responsible for purchasing component repair services from various external suppliers (Part 145 Repair Stations).

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day delivery rhythm from Order to Remittance (OTR) to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Drive supplier performance on turnaround time and potentially involve in capability development.
• Familiarize with ARS transactions through managing a portfolio of supplier-customer accounts and subsequently expanding the portfolio and people-leading skills.
• Gain a full perspective of delivery fulfillment and its impact on business & customer through cross-functional external/internal collaborations, including both suppliers and customers.

Learning Opportunities:

• Project Management: Manage, build rapport, and collaborate with suppliers to fulfill customer needs.
• Technical Skills: Exposure to technical data such as supplier defect reports and engine manual repair.
• Problem-Solving: Develop problem-solving skills utilizing LEAN tools to address capacities and material challenges.
• Data Analysis: Develop data analysis skills in reviewing scrap trends, volume forecasts, and delivery performance.

Exposure Opportunities:

• Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with Suppliers, Engineering, CS Team, Material, Logistics & Customers.
• Leadership Interaction: Potential involvement in leadership calls to gain insights into business decision-making.
• Systems: Use ERP systems for Purchase Order & Shop Order issuance, Customer escalation platforms (MOA), and data analytics tools for shop visits/volume forecasts.
• Business Acumen: Understand ARS business strategies and how each role impacts & influences outcomes.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in production planning & supplier management in the Aerospace industry.
