Job description

Responsibilities

  1. To collect the requirements, design, develop, configure, test, implement, support and improve ServiceNow ITSM tool.
  2. Customize ServiceNow applications, modules, forms, workflows, and user interfaces based on business requirements.
  3. Analyse the business operation needs and translate into technical requirements.
  4. Support, troubleshoot, administer, perform patching and upgrades of ServiceNow.
  5. Write server-side scripts, client-side scripts, business rules, and UI policies using ServiceNow's scripting language.
  6. Customize and extend ServiceNow functionalities using platform features like Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, UI Macros, and Service Portal.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including system administrators, business analysts, and project managers, to deliver successful ServiceNow projects.
  8. Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users for ServiceNow applications and functionalities.
  9. Advise on tools technology adoption based on business & technical consideration.
  10. Propose integration strategies for the various technology components to achieve a holistic solution.

Requirements

  1. Minimum 3 years’ experience with implementation and support of ServiceNow modules.
  2. Must have ServiceNow certification (e.g., Certified Application Developer).
  3. Three (3) or more years of experience as a ServiceNow Technical Consultant, with hands-on experience in ground-up implementations with ServiceNow products.
  4. Two (2) or more years of experience with ServiceNow scoped applications and all scripting module experience including client scripts, business rules, workflow, flow designer, script includes, UI actions, UI macros, UI pages, etc., custom application development.
  5. Two (2) or more years of experience with ServiceNow Service Portal and widget development (Angular JS, JavaScript, CSS, HTML).
  6. Knowledge and experience integrating ServiceNow using platform APIs and integration tools is a MUST.
  7. Hands-on development and customization of ServiceNow applications.
  8. Solid understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and RESTful APIs.
  9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
