Product Specialist (Game Operations)

Job Responsibilities

• Localize in-game content, ensuring it aligns with the marketability and preferences of regional and local audiences.
• Respond promptly to live game incidents, coordinating with cross-functional teams to maintain high service standards for players.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute effective ad campaigns.
• Monitor and analyze user and gameplay trends, delivering insights to drive improvements in key product metrics.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve existing and conceptualize new supporting features to enhance the game experience.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth game operations.
• Provide support in regular reporting, including data analysis and visualization of game and feature performance.
• Conceptualize game product improvements through user research and data analysis to enhance player experience.
• Undertake any ad hoc tasks as assigned by the Product Manager.

Job Requirements

Fluency in English and an avid interest in PC and Mobile gaming is a minimum prerequisite for this position. The ideal candidate should:

• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Business, Game Design or any related field
• A creative thinker with a passion for games and a strong understanding of gamer psychology, particularly in MMORPGs.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey ideas and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver under pressure.
• Strong familiarity with MapleStorySEA, particularly post-2022 updates, and a demonstrated passion for the game.
• Self-driven and able to work independently with a high sense of ownership and responsibility.
• Willingness to work long and/or irregular hours when necessary.
• Proficiency in Korean is a plus.
• Prior working experience in the gaming industry is a plus.
