Position: Product Marketing Manager (Food Service/HORECA)

Department: Marketing

Location: Singapore

Reporting to: General Manager

Position Summary

The Product Marketing Manager at Merchant Brothers will be responsible for driving product growth and market adoption within the food service sector, including restaurants, catering services, and hospitality businesses. This role involves developing go-to-market strategies, creating compelling product positioning, and supporting the business development team with tools and insights to effectively engage customers.

Core Responsibilities

Market Insights & Research

· Conduct market research to understand trends, customer needs, and competitor offerings within food service channels

· Develop buyer personas to align marketing strategies with customer profiles in the food service industry

Product Positioning & Messaging

· Craft compelling product positioning and messaging tailored to chefs and procurement officers

· Develop marketing materials (e.g., brochures, presentations, and digital content) that highlight the unique benefits of our products

Go-to-Market Strategy

· Plan and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches, product line expansions and events

· Collaborate with the business development team to ensure seamless product introductions and adoption within food service channels

Sales Enablement

· Develop sales tools, training materials, and presentations to support the business development team

· Conduct training sessions to ensure the business development team can effectively communicate product value propositions

Campaign Management

· Plan and manage marketing campaigns to increase product awareness and generate demand in the food service sector

· Create digital and offline content that resonates with chefs, restaurateurs, and catering professionals

Performance Analysis

· Monitor and analyse the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and product performance.

· Provide data-driven insights and recommendations for optimising marketing efforts

Stakeholder Collaboration

· Work closely with the business development and management teams to align on product strategies and customer needs

· Engage with customers and industry partners to gather feedback and identify partnership opportunities.

Requirements, Knowledge, Skills

Education: Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

Experience: 2-4 years in product marketing, preferably in food service, FMCG, or related industries.

Skills:

- Strong understanding of food service industry

- Excellent communication, presentation, and copywriting skills

- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and CRM platforms

- Ability to analyse market data and derive actionable insights

- Project management skills with attention to detail and timelines

- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally
