Product Manager (Wealth & Card, Banking, East)

Our client is one of the leaders in the banking industry, seeking a product manager with extensive experience in wealth and card management. This will be a contract role to start with.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in development and analysis of strategic product roadmaps, product enhancement and development, product and project launches, and product marketing to gain maximum benefit from each product, as well as review surveys and analyze competitive industry landscapes to identify relative trends, threats, and opportunities for product managers.
• Participate in day-to-day product management for core products such as product delivery, client experience, and client communication strategies, as well as help the team prioritize, negotiate, and remove obstacles to achieve business results.
• Execute client value propositions, positioning, segmentation, pricing, targeting, channel strategies, and competitive differentiation to achieve preferred status as a partner to clients.
• Oversee client and competitor market research, develop product innovation roadmap, and assist product managers in addressing fundamental trials of product commoditization to create an advanced set of solutions.
• Contribute to achievement of acquisition targets, product financial performance, revenue performance, and expense management goals as well as oversee identification and execution of opportunities and gaps in business plans.
• Implement team procedures, client problem resolution, and client management.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
• Access to systems, for example, Cognos, Tableau, Eclipse, Moengage, KANA, Confluence, Enterprise Data Warehouse, Procure to Pay, CTI AP RACF, Cisco Wireless, Zoom, Mobile Key, CSIS Security, IBM DB2 Content Manager OnDemand, Digital Content and Marketing Management, Email and Internet (internal & external).

Competencies:

• 5-8 years of experience.
• Knowledge of credit card product management, portfolio migrations, acquisition, product development, and data analytics.
• Understanding of association rules, local regulations, and operational processes.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements.
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.
• Demonstrated analytical skills.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.
