Job description

The Product Management team at Shopee is the key focal point between the business, engineering, and design teams. The team is responsible for implementing strategy, road maps, and features while adhering to business goals. It covers all functions including but not limited to Financial Services, Supply Chain, Search, Recommendation, Advertising, Order, Promotion, User, Anti-Fraud, and Seller Service. Job Description:

  • Define and execute product strategy with cross-functional teams to drive overall business impact while ensuring good user experience.
  • Improve key metrics with a specific focus on driving order conversion within the Shopee App.
  • Design solutions that enhance the user experience within the buyer journey of the Shopee App.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis on user behavior to propose potential improvements and new strategies to continuously improve the topline metrics and conversion.
  • Drive operational efficiency by deeply understanding the business team's concerns and their workflow.
  • Work with the design and development team to translate our consumer insights and business know-how into products and systems that impact users' daily lives.
  • Collaborate with the business and data team to monitor product performance and iterate the design based on user feedback.
  • Take ownership of the product development lifecycle and ensure timely delivery of products.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related science/tech field preferred.
  • Prior minimum 1 year working experience in product management or data analytics in the consumer experience field.
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic and agile working environment.
  • Effectively communicate complex business/technical information with different audiences verbally or in writing.
  • Good critical thinking and data-based decision-making skills.
  • Adaptable, open-minded, quick learner.
  • Cares deeply about user experience and business impact for both Shopee and the e-commerce ecosystem.
  • Experience in toC product design or working with data scientists or machine learning engineers is a plus.
