Product Manager (Hardware)

Our client is seeking an experienced Product Manager to join their team and lead the development of their cleaning robots. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing site requirements and stakeholder needs to translate them into product requirements for the engineering team. The ideal candidate will have experience in sectors such as supermarkets, retail stores, hospitality, restaurants, and facility management.

Responsibilities:

1. Build a continuous product discovery pipeline for sectors of interest
2. Analyze site requirements for cleaning robots and identify opportunities for product development and improvement
3. Analyze the pain points of stakeholders such as site cleaners, cleaning supervisors, and operations managers to ensure that product requirements meet their needs
4. Translate customer feedback into product requirements for the engineering team
5. Work with the engineering team to prioritize features and plan product roadmap
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, and customer support to ensure successful product development and launch
7. Work with supply chain and production to ensure smooth roll out of new product enhancements
8. Work with customers to successfully deploy robots at their sites and provide ongoing support and training as needed
9. Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on industry trends and competition
10. Monitor and report on product performance and make recommendations for improvements as needed

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in design, engineering, business, or a related field
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in product management, design engineering, or a related field
3. Experience in defining, managing, or launching new functionality at a technology company
4. Experience in creating a detailed go-to-market process and managing timelines to achieve product and business goals
5. Operations experience in rolling out hardware products is preferred
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
7. Excellent communication and collaboration skills both with end customers/users and also internal engineering teams
8. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
9. Familiarity with agile development methodologies
10. Ability to come up with low-fidelity prototypes to validate ideas
11. Experience with robotics or other hardware products preferred
12. Certifications such as CPM and CSPO would be a bonus
