Product Growth Specialist (Tagalog)

We are hiring a Product Growth Specialist for a Social Media client on a yearly renewable contract role. The ideal candidate is passionate about international market success and has relevant experience in product management for consumer products and mobile technology.

Job Description:

• Provide local insights and local knowledge about digital advertising – identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats relevant for success in the Philippines.
• Explore, identify, and execute on growth opportunities.
• Ensure the applications are fully functional and well adapted to be successful in the Philippines market.
• Partner with the analytics organization to validate key findings with data.
• Escalate to and drive solutions with product management for identified market-specific product issues and gaps.
• Design and oversee local execution of a continuous testing plan for important end-to-end flows.
• Track progress of market-specific product improvements and measure impact.
• Leverage usability studies, research, and market analysis to drive market-specific product insights into execution.
• Understand the strategic and competitive position in the region and work to improve it.

Qualifications:

• Must have experience in a digital advertising role.
• Experience working in global companies and abroad (communication, collaboration) with an understanding of the global product life cycle.
• Need to have experience influencing and often selling.
• Strong digital product and business background is a plus. Can consider PMM experience too.
• Product background mostly focused on business instead of consumer products.
• Insights on Monetization – needs someone who is more heavily focused on advertising monetization (more from a solutioning standpoint – e.g., how to pitch back to the product teams).
• Preferred Tagalog speaking as the role covers the Philippines market.
• Preferred at least 5 years of product management, product marketing, or digital advertising industry experience.
