Product Development Vice President

Job Responsibilities

As the Vice President of Product Development, you will bring experience and vision to drive the strategy, innovation, and execution of our product portfolio. You will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams, overseeing the entire product lifecycle, and ensuring that our products meet both global and regional market demands.

Job Descriptions

Product Strategy & Development:

1. Define and execute a comprehensive product development strategy aligned with business objectives
2. Drive innovation and technology adoption to maintain a competitive edge
3. Develop and manage the product roadmap and ideation, ensuring alignment with customer needs, market trends, and business priorities

Regional & Global Market Adaptation

1. Lead regional product development strategies, ensuring compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and customer requirements
2. Collaborate with regional sales, marketing, and support teams to tailor product offerings for different markets
3. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities and refine product positioning

Cross-functional Leadership

1. Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to design, development, launch, and post-market support
2. Collaborate cross-functionally and work closely with multiple lines of business including R&D engineering, sales, product and data science to ensure seamless execution and successful product rollouts
3. Drive Agile and Lean development methodologies to enhance efficiency and speed-to-market

Performance Management & Execution

1. Establish KPIs and success metrics to measure product performance and customer satisfaction
2. Manage product development budgets, resources, and timelines to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
3. Ensure product scalability, performance, security, and reliability while optimizing costs

Job Requirements

1. 12+ years of experience in product development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role especially in regional country
2. Strong expertise in networking technologies, cloud solutions, cybersecurity, or enterprise IT products (depending on your industry)
3. Proven experience in managing regional product strategies and a proven track record of delivering high-quality, market-leading solutions and adaptation
4. Deep understanding of regional compliance, customer preferences, and regulatory requirements
5. Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, DevOps, and modern product development frameworks
6. Strong business acumen with the ability to balance technical and commercial considerations
7. Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills
