Luminicell is a biotechnology company specialized in advanced fluorescence technologies to address the demand in life science applications. These include the design and development of high value bioimaging materials for translational research applications as well as diagnostic use cases.

We are looking for additional team members that bring in more expertise in both biology and applied chemistry, to drive new commercial applications, strategic partnerships as well as business opportunity for our novel fluorescence solutions.

Luminicell is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Nanolumi. Today, our core team under Nanolumi comprises of industry professionals with deep technical expertise, global business experience and a proven track record for commercializing new technologies. The Role & Your Impact

• Lead product development initiatives focusing on biochemistry and biomaterials for existing and new product lines, with emphasis on application expansion.
• Design and execute biology and biochemistry experiments for validating and improving Luminicell products, as well as other new technologies in the pipelines.
• Take charge of routine cell line maintenance, day-to-day operations, including sample preparations for imaging-related studies.
• Stay up-to-date with latest advancements in biomaterials, bioimaging and diagnostics applications, integrate insights into product development strategies.
• Engage with external parties (commercial and academia) to collaborate on validation and commercial roll-out of new product and technology pipelines.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including user guides, training materials, application notes, and FAQs.

Who We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in biochemistry, biotechnology, chemistry, materials science, biomedical engineering, or related fields.
• Experienced in maintaining cell lines and performing cell labelling experiments.
• Experienced in operating confocal microscopes and flow cytometers, including design of experiment and data analysis.
• Able to perform biochemical assays for chemistry-related bioconjugation work.
• Previous hands-on experience with animal imaging experiments.
• Prior research experience on bio-/nano- materials is a plus.
• Prior experience in publishing technical articles in the biological field is a plus.
• Prior knowledge with antibody conjugations, antimicrobial resistance, and exosomes related topics is a plus.
• Innovative thinker, problem-solver, passionate and capable of driving translational research and new product development.
