Product and Sales Support Specialist
Job description
Product Knowledge and Support:
- Develop a deep understanding of the company's product portfolio.
- Provide technical support to customers and the sales team regarding product features, specifications, and applications.
- Assist in the preparation of product documentation, including datasheets, manuals, and user guides.
Sales Support:
- Collaborate with the sales team to respond to customer inquiries and provide product-related solutions.
- Assist in preparing quotes, proposals, and presentations for potential clients.
- Support the sales team in managing customer accounts and tracking sales orders.
Customer Service:
- Address customer questions and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Handle customer complaints and work with the relevant teams to resolve issues effectively.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by following up on orders and service requests.
Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor products, and customer needs.
- Provide insights and feedback to the product development team to enhance existing products or develop new ones.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and product issues.
- Prepare regular reports on sales support activities, customer feedback, and product performance.
Training and Education:
- Conduct training sessions for the sales team and customers on product features and best practices.
- Develop training materials and resources to support ongoing education efforts.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the product development and marketing teams to ensure that the sales team is equipped with the latest product information.
- Coordinate with logistics and operations teams to ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify areas for process improvement within the sales support function.
- Suggest and implement improvements to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Biological Science, Microbiology, Nursing or any health sciences or any related field.
- Previous experience in sales support, customer service, or a related role.
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Technical knowledge of the company's products.
- Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
