We are looking for a Procurement Manager (Tank and Hold Cleaning) to join our company.
The Procurement Manager oversees sourcing and procurement within an assigned business segment, implementing strategies set by Global Procurement to meet commercial goals. They define procurement practices aligned with corporate governance, policies, and standards while monitoring and driving performance against targets. Responsibilities include building long-term, strategic supplier relationships and negotiating key agreements. Additionally, the role involves flexibility to support other areas, participate in projects, and contribute to professional development across the company's verticals.
Who you will report to:
The Procurement Manager reports to the Head of Procurement and Planning Cargo Solutions of the business vertical.
What you will be doing:
- Ensure the business segment complies with corporate governance, policies, procedures, and the Procurement Governance Standard.
- Minimize risk exposure by ensuring compliance within the existing supplier base and during the sourcing of new suppliers.
- Develop, seek approval for, and implement strategic procurement plans in alignment with Global Procurement strategies.
- Drive procurement efficiency by optimizing spending and delivering cost savings effectively and economically.
- Plan and manage procurement activities in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to meet set targets.
- Establish, maintain, and enforce standard contracts with suppliers while ensuring adherence to the Supplier Code of Conduct.
- Negotiate agreements with strategically important suppliers to secure favorable terms and partnerships.
- Identify and strengthen strategic supplier relationships with a focus on innovation and product development.
- Continuously monitor and improve supplier performance through audits and business reviews.
- Explore and implement alternative sourcing strategies from critical suppliers to ensure supply chain resilience.
- Improve supplier utilization to reduce freight costs and lead times.
- Promote compliance with ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) requirements set by the organization.
- Drive sustainable procurement practices to minimize carbon footprint and environmental impact.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure the selection of quality suppliers and products that meet specifications.
What we are looking for:
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with domestic and international stakeholders and counterparties.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate and cooperate with diverse individuals and cultures.
- International experience and knowledge of the maritime industry is an advantage.

What you bring:
- Master’s degree or equivalent extensive experience.
- Experience in developing and managing procurements in organizations applying international standards.
- Extensive exposure to contract law and contract management.
- Strong international negotiation experience.
