The role requires managing the supply chain by overseeing sourcing, negotiation, product volume, risk, opportunities, and contribution margin performance.
Main Activities:
Manage the company’s supply chain, including trade products and non-trade transactions.
Negotiation with supplier for the cost price by factor in the market trend.
Maintain product pricing and transfer pricing to align with market trends.
Factor in fuel costs, oil major credit, and operational constraints to advise on the lifting source and volume.
Follow the cutoff time to advise on the lifting source and volume. Also, keep track of sales and operational timelines to streamline the entire supply chain.
Review the criteria for transfer pricing and service type premiums regularly.
Monthly reporting on the contribution margin performance by product, service type, and salesperson
Risk management including price risk, volume risk, currency risk, and product risk.
Qualifications / Experience:
Possess minimum Diploma in any discipline, with minimum 2 years relevant experience in product pricing, market research or analytical role.
With knowledge of ERP system Microsoft Dynamic BC will be added advantage.
Simulation and forecasting competence is preferred.
Good communication and interpersonal skills to maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Basic procurement process knowledge is a must.
Meticulous, strong team player and has good analytical and problem solving skills
