Procurement Manager

Join our Procurement family where you will contribute to the defence and national security of Singapore by procuring state-of-the art defence systems, goods and services.

Under guidance and on-the-job training, the role will require you to:

1. Work with users to understand their requirements, review specifications, formulate procurement approaches and strategies appropriate for the purchases.
2. Prepare quotations/tender documentation.
3. Conduct procurement processes of sourcing, tendering, evaluation, negotiation, and contract management in accordance with policies and guidelines to ensure transparency, fairness, and value for money.
4. Conduct market research and engage industries to understand supplier landscape and market supply conditions.
5. Innovate and add value to the procurement processes.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Tertiary qualification in any discipline.
2. Knowledge in business, finance, and government procurement will be an advantage.
3. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
4. Organised and meticulous.
5. Enjoys critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical work.
6. Able to work independently and in a team.
7. Able to work in a fast-paced, challenging, and dynamic environment.
8. Good project management skills.
