Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective and timely sourcing of quality ingredients, supplies, and equipment.
  • Identify and build strong relationships with reliable suppliers and negotiate contracts for favorable terms.
  • Monitor market trends, pricing, and availability to make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Coordinate with culinary and operations teams to ensure procurement aligns with menu planning and operational requirements.
  • Oversee inventory management, ensuring optimal stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, health regulations, and company standards in all procurement activities.
  • Analyze procurement data, prepare reports, and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Manage the procurement team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the F&B or hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain management, contract negotiation, and vendor relationship management.
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and F&B industry standards.
  • Proficient in procurement software and MS Office applications.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin speaking counterparts.
