About the job

  1. Drive company's procurement and cost control strategy for contractual logistics and overheads expenses.
  2. Ensure that the procurement process is efficient, cost-effective, and follows the appropriate policies and procedures.

What you will be doing

Procurement Strategy and Team management

  1. Define company's procurement strategy for contractual logistics and overheads expenses.
  2. Drive and monitor the cost reduction programs.
  3. Manage the purchasing team.
  4. Oversee the procurement daily activity (negotiations, benchmarks, RFQ...).
  5. Ensure high level of communication with both operations and finance teams, as well as management.

Vendor management

  1. Source and develop the best vendors that are able to support the company' strategic plan.
  2. Perform a regular review of the vendors based on their actual performances.

Procurement processes

  1. Manage and enforce procurement SOPs.
  2. Ensure the compliance of the procurement practices with the Supplier Group Policy.
  3. Embed procurement processes in our company and Group's CSR objectives.

Procure to pay system

  1. Administer our procure-to-pay system.
  2. Lead its continuous improvement.

Other

  1. Provide supplier market intelligence.
  2. Implement best practices for procurement.
  3. Assist Finance Director, Operations, and Management in special assignments on project basis.

Requirements

The successful candidate

  1. Degree in commercial business.
  2. At least 5 years' of related working experience with at least 2 years in similar capacity.
  3. Preferences for Logistics or Industrial backgrounds.
  4. Resourceful, result-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
  5. Excellent negotiation skills.
  6. Self-motivated, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  7. Possess excellent interpersonal and technical skills.
  8. Independent and fast learner with minimum supervision.
  9. Meticulous, organized, able to meet deadlines.
  10. High proficiency in MS Excel and a procurement software.
