Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Strategy & Governance Manager to represent our procurement team in developing and implementing effective procurement policies and procedures on a global scale. This role will ensure that our procurement practices align with corporate objectives, regulatory requirements, and sustainability goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of strategic sourcing processes, procurement operations, and sustainability initiatives.

Responsibilities

1. Review and align source-to-order process to comply with all applicable rules, regulations, policies, and strategies.
2. Establish and maintain procurement policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
3. Implement robust governance frameworks to manage supplier relationships and mitigate risks.
4. Monitor compliance with procurement policies and procedures, conducting regular audits and assessments.
5. Identify, propose, and drive continuous improvement for source-to-order process to deliver highly effective and efficient operations.
6. Coordinate with other functions to ensure seamless integration of procurement process into their processes.
7. Develop templates, guides, and manuals to drive process standardisation across global procurement organisations.
8. Train the procurement team and other business users on procurement process and tools.
9. Develop reports and dashboards to monitor process efficiency through key metrics to achieve operational excellence.
10. Support internal procurement KPI development and prepare monthly reports to review progress against goals to drive performance improvement.
11. Establish Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) with businesses to align service level expectations on procurement support; develop reports and dashboards to monitor service performance against the agreed measures.
12. Conduct customer satisfaction surveys.
13. Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of procurement strategies and initiatives.
14. Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, performance, and achievements to senior management.
15. Use data analytics to identify areas for improvement and drive strategic decision-making.
16. Integrate sustainability principles into procurement processes and strategies, promoting environmental, social, and economic sustainability.
17. Collaborate with suppliers to promote sustainable practices and ensure adherence to sustainability standards.

Requirements

1. University degree in relevant field and/or 5 years equivalent work experience.
2. Good understanding of source-to-order process and passionate about process optimisation through digitalisation.
3. Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
4. Team player with a clear focus on delivering.
