Key Responsibilities:
• Managing all activities related to the purchases of the products needed by the company at the best possible cost.
• Oversee and ensure the company stays in control of its inventory needs and to ensure that the right products are delivered to the right location on time and at a good cost.
General Duties & Responsibilities:
• Lead procurement activities related to Country Business Operations (Direct/Indirect).
• Negotiate and purchase products/goods at the most competitive price, and value and delivered on time.
• Actively sourcing, benchmarking & negotiating to determine the lowest cost vs quality - for innovation, and alternatives.
• Responsible for timely issuance of Purchase Orders in accordance with the company's policies and procedures, and adhering to the authority matrix set up by Finance.
• Continually improve the purchasing/procurement procedures and drive down external spending.
• Ensure a well-maintained procurement database either through our system or manual records/documentation.
• Utilize system, data, and technology to identify cost savings and monitor spend analysis.
• Build strong working relationships with both internal and external suppliers.
• Ability to continually identify new suppliers, agree on terms and negotiate supply agreements where appropriate, including discount structure, volume rebates, or cost reduction.
• Evaluate prospective suppliers according to the company's expected quality and commercial standards.
• Ensure regulatory and compliance standards are adhered to and ensure appropriate approval is in place for products delivered to Singapore.
• Manage product quality complaints.
• Plan, organize, and maintain the fleet's activities.
• Prepare reports/data of procurement from time to time, as may be required by the country or Regional.
• Meeting Annual Cost Savings KPI and responsible to report cost savings initiatives via BTS system.
• Any other tasks as assigned by Senior Management.
Inventory Management activities would cover some or all of the following:
• Replenishment Lead time & On-time replenishment of inventory to business.
• Responsible for the total carrying cost of Inventory.
• Physical inventory, stock accuracy & minimized stock variance.
• Inventory Forecasting - in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain optimal inventory level to ensure timely availability of products.
• Participate in Monthly Stock Take.
• Review Stock Issuance usage and report any movement of concern.

• Proficiency to operate independently.
Requirements:
• Tertiary qualifications (or its equivalent) in the following fields Procurement, Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, or related field.
• At least min. 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the delivery and management of procurement services.
• +3 years experience in managing a team in a sub-functional environment.
• Experience in using Inventory Management System.
• Proficient in the use of computer applications and systems (eg Windows/ChromeBook).
