Procurement Lead (12-months Contract)

The Procurement in Integration & Energy is responsible for delivering solutions to the Offshore market, serving the shipyards and ship owners in the Singapore and China region. Under the guidance of the Regional Procurement Manager and in collaboration with the Procurement Lead, the Project Team of Kongsberg oversees procurement and ensures successful project delivery.

What you will be doing

• Follow up on Purchase Orders to meet project delivery milestones, regularly monitoring with suppliers (local and overseas), logistics, and/or delivery engineer(s).
• Interface with the Project Planner for project delivery alignment.
• Responsible for logistics arrangements to import or export from Singapore and/or overseas after FAT for each system or package.
• Influence on-time delivery from suppliers.
• Follow up with suppliers for POs confirmation.
• Obtain progress milestone certification and/or proof of delivery from suppliers/contractors to proceed with payment and any other ad-hoc duties assigned.

• Experience in contract negotiation, risk assessment, and strong interpersonal and communication skills are advantageous.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and within tight timelines while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.

• Independent, proactive attitude with a commitment to meeting deadlines.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of consistently delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
• High degree of computer literacy and a willingness to learn and adapt.
• Proficiency in Chinese, facilitating seamless collaboration with external parties in a multinational environment.
