Procurement Executive - SPX Express

The Operation teams at Shopee cover the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform to the moment the buyer receives the products. The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. The Operations team comprises Customer Service, Payment, Listings, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations, and Fraud.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Executive to join our team and play a key role in driving efficiency and compliance across our procurement processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and negotiation skills, a compliance-focused mindset, and experience in vendor management.

• Vendor Management: Act as the main liaison point for fleet agency within the team. Evaluate vendors based on cost, performance, and reliability to support vendor selection.
• Financial Oversight: Conduct loss recovery analysis and manage penalty collections; provide support on large scale tenders.
• Decision Support: Prepare management reports for decision-makers, facilitating the approval of products or services for purchase.
• Policy Adherence: Enforce procurement policies and procedures, ensuring the team follows established guidelines. Enforce MOM regulations and rules are strictly adhered to.
• Contract Management: Evaluate and negotiate contract terms with vendors. Provide necessary information for contract drafting and coordinate with the Legal team for contract preparation.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, or other relevant fields.
• Experience in supplier management will be an advantage.
• Internship or working experience in relevant fields such as Procurement, Accounting, Supply Chain Operations.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and cross-functional environments.
