Job description

Position: Procurement Coordinator / Executive (Interior Design / Renovation/ Purchase Order)

Location: Toa Payoh Industrial (Bus stop nearby)

Working hours: 5 days a week - Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm

Salary (commensurate with experience): Basic up to $3500 + Performance Bonus + 14 Days Annual leave

Duration: Permanent

Industry: Interior Fit-out Industry

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Implement procurement strategies, policies, and procedures.
  2. Identify and manage vendors, including contract development and compliance, and vendor performance.
  3. Negotiate with suppliers on lead-time, cost, and quality to obtain the maximum benefit for the company.
  4. Issue Purchase Orders, update Purchase Order status, and Project Cost updating.
  5. Exercise a good working knowledge of materials and sources of supply and make purchases at prices consistent with quality and quantity requirements.
  6. Other ad hoc assignments by Superior.

Requirements:

  1. Knowledge of import and export regulations.
  2. Experience in vendor management and contract negotiation.
  3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  4. Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
