Job description

Area of responsibility and Leadership tasks

  1. Act as a liaison between global Corporate Procurement Shared Service and APAC subsidiaries.
  2. Oversee procurement strategies and operations within the APAC cluster.
  3. Lead, manage, and develop the local procurement support team to achieve business objectives.
  4. Owner of sourcing strategies for the APAC cluster.
  5. Develop and execute a comprehensive procurement transformation strategy for the APAC region, aligning with the global procurement vision and objectives.
  6. Manage and mitigate procurement risks for the APAC cluster.
  7. Develop and implement a digital transformation strategy for procurement, leveraging digital tools and platforms to transform procurement processes from sourcing to contract management.
  8. Manage supplier relationships by executing the Source-to-Contract process, including preparing and conducting fact-based negotiations, and adapting tactics from a broad portfolio of negotiation strategies to achieve results that support business and procurement objectives.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  2. Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  3. Strong understanding of procurement processes and best practices.
  4. Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
  5. Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  7. Proficiency in English; additional languages relevant to the APAC region and German are a plus.
