Job Title: Procurement Assistant

Job Responsibilities:

  • Source, negotiate, and purchase materials from both local and overseas vendors to meet company requirements.
  • Handle daily operational purchasing needs, including planning, issuing, and following up on Purchase Orders (POs), delivery schedules, and shipment timelines.
  • Coordinate and arrange shipments for local and overseas customers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Support Sales team activities by assisting with customer enquiries and ensuring that product supply aligns with customer needs.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in purchasing and logistics management, preferably in the import/export industry.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to interact with both local and overseas vendors.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and handle customer inquiries effectively.
  • Familiarity with procurement and logistics software/systems is a plus.
