Procurement Analyst (Tech MNC)

Adecco is partnering our client, a well-known Tech MNC.

The Opportunity

• We are looking for individuals with good exposure to Procurement and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Candidates who are able to start work within short notice will be preferred.

• At least 3 years of relevant Procurement Experience (Costing, Quotation, Project Management).

Job Description

Summary

• Provide costing support to the Sales team, ensuring accurate and efficient quoting for customers, in line with company standards and guidelines.
• Provides foundational technical and systems support under the guidance of senior Operations Support Engineers.
• Identifies opportunities for process improvements and suggests basic enhancements.
• Assists in creating and updating documentation and training materials.
• Manages vendor relationships and supports SG Data Center Operations management in delivering a business continuity strategy by engaging a dual vendor approach.

Responsibilities

Costing Process

• Arrange and attend site surveys.
• Get quotes from vendors and perform quotes comparison.
• Manage clarification/negotiation process with vendors.
• Provide accurate quotes to the sales team.
• Costing Evaluation.

Review of new product and services

• Review existing vendors and update on pricing and services.
• Improve delivery lead-time.
• Enhancement of Rate Book and aim to reduce sales drag.

Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Proficient in Spreadsheet, Word Processing, Powerpoint, Visio, Outlook, etc.
• Able to write minutes in an IT Operation environment.
