Process / Product Engineer - (Stationed in Batam)

Job Summary

As a Process / Product Engineer, you will take the lead in driving projects that improve manufacturing processes and product quality. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including international stakeholders, to implement improvements and ensure the highest standards in capacitor production.

Job Description

• Lead and manage process and product improvement projects in the capacitor manufacturing factory.
• Develop and propose new ideas for process and product development, aimed at improving efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate with suppliers to execute material improvement initiatives, utilizing metrology knowledge.
• Conduct statistical analysis using tools such as Minitab, Tableau, or other relevant software to evaluate and enhance processes.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely and effective completion of improvement projects.
• Utilize design and analysis software (e.g., CAD, CAE) to support product development (advantageous, not required).
• Create and maintain control plans, manufacturing standards, and PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) for new products and process changes.

Requirements

• Engineering degree or above in Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in process/product development and improvement within a component manufacturing industry (preferably in electronics or capacitor manufacturing).
• Proficiency in Minitab for statistical analysis and decision-making.
• Basic Mechatronics knowledge to understand and analyze machine functionality.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access).
• Familiarity with engineering analysis software (e.g., Pro E, Ansys) is an advantage.
• Basic experience with analysis equipment handling (e.g., mechanical property checker, material analysis equipment).
• Willing to be stationed / Travel frequently to Batam.
