Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Leader for company's Product Application Lab team, to drive the development and growth of company's semiconductor solutions division. This pioneering role will lead company's Product Application Lab for Strip, Etch, and Clean (SEC) solutions, with future opportunities to explore advanced electroplating technologies. The candidate will collaborate with Sales and global technical teams to support product development and growth in the SEA region.
About the Company:
Our client is a global supplier and market leader of specialty chemicals, custom finishing equipment, engineered powders, and analytical control systems, serving industries such as electronic components, printed circuit boards, semiconductors, industrial finishing, and decorative sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a deep understanding of company's semiconductor products and keep up-to-date with industry trends and competitor products.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to identify appropriate customer and application targets.
- Conduct customer visits across the given territory to assess equipment, processes, and performance needs.
- Oversee the start-up and operation of the company's Wafer Processing and Failure Analysis lab.
- Conduct product functional testing and measurements, either on-site or by coordinating with other regions for remote results.
- Advise on lab upgrades to enhance customer service and support troubleshooting during qualification tests.
- Recommend the best products based on hands-on experience and lab trials.
- Hire and supervise technician/s to manage lab operations and assist with customer trials.
- Develop specifications for local manufacturing of SEC products and advise on operator training for manufacturing sites.
- Set procedures, quality targets, and release specifications for locally made semiconductor products.
- Build external collaborations with co-suppliers, universities, or research institutes to strengthen product offerings and enhance market visibility.
Requirements:
- Master's or PhD in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
- At least 10 years of experience in semiconductor wafer processing.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and regions in a fast-evolving environment.
