Source and purchase goods, components, or services in line with specified cost, quality, and delivery targets.
Categories of purchase include EPC, construction and associated OEM components.
Manage contracts, payment claims, variation orders and contract disputes during project execution.
Following and enforcing procurement policies and procedures, support the functions and communicate any supply problems which may impact on business operations.
Act as an interface between suppliers and internal stakeholders on procurement processes for new projects and activities.
Monitor and advise on any issues which present risk or opportunity to the organization.
Monitor market trends, competitor strategies and market suppliers.
Provide analysis on costs for new and existing suppliers, and review cost reduction activities.
Negotiate contracts, improve prices and terms of business with suppliers.
Review opportunities to create business savings via negotiation and procurement best practices.
Build, maintain and manage supplier relationships on behalf of the organisation.
Prepare cost analyses, and reports.
Requirements:
Degree in Engineering / Business.
At least 8 years of experience in Procurement.
Experience in negotiating of vendor contracts including EPC contracts, supply agreements and long term service agreements.
