Process Engineer - 2 Years Contract

Reporting to the Manager, Engineering, the Process Engineer will provide technical guidance on packaging-related customer complaints, deviations and investigations, as well as develop and participates in continuous process improvement activities to enhance packaging performance metrics. In collaboration with functional groups, will support the introduction of new products/market to the packaging operation as well as qualify new components and equipment capabilities.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Critical responsibilities but not limited to:

• Investigating packaging customer complaints and authoring customer complaint reports
• Supports routine supply manufacture by providing on going technical support and implementing opportunities for improvement utilizing the lean six sigma tools.
• Support new product introductions to the site by assisting with machinability and qualification activities and training of technicians as required.
• Support introduction of new components/sources by assisting with machinability and qualification activities and training of technicians as required.
• Supports filing activities by developing and supporting qualification activities for equipment, process and material changes.

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Bachelors or Masters in a technical field, including Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Sciences
• Minimum 3 years technical experience preferably in manufacturing, oil and gas or semiconductor industries
