Process Development Senior Technician

Requirement

Support in smooth transfer of new products and packages from Technology/Subcon to HVM site

1. Assist engineer to execute smooth products transfer
2. Assist engineer to execute qualification of NPI products/packages build that proliferate from the pilot products and packages according to planned timeline
3. Assist engineer to execute NPI Customer samples and Engineering Samples build for new products and packages according to planned timeline
4. Provide ideas for cost reduction and process simplification.

Support in evaluating and Improving Assigned Assembly Processes, Materials, and/or Equipment

1. Identify, investigate, and document quality deviations
2. Troubleshoot deviations using systematic troubleshooting techniques
3. Ensure corrective action was taken to prevent reoccurrence of deviation
4. Troubleshoot process problems and determine the best course of action
5. Make process adjustments (adjust parameters to optimize quality and OPE)
6. Assist engineer with process developments
7. Verify correct process variables for production (i.e. materials, machine set points, etc.)
8. Monitor Process SPC and Cpk (Process Capability)

Support in development/improvement of Process, Equipment and/or Material

1. Assist Engineer in conducting experiments (DOE)
2. Understand factors that impact process quality and propose solutions
3. Understand process limits and capabilities (CPK) and support process improvement evaluations

Assist in implementation of New Process and Process Changes to Operation

1. Assist Engineer in maintaining operation procedures/specification
2. Assist Engineer in Maintaining Assembly On-Line Document System (AODS) and change communication procedures: ECN (Engineering Change Notice)
3. Familiarize with Assembly qualification procedures
4. Maintain knowledge of material attributes (shelf life, storage requirements, etc.)
5. Coordinate and conduct training/briefing for operational personnel, i.e. PEM tech, Mfg POs, etc. on product/process requirement, machine and operation procedures
6. Communicate lessons learnt and training to operation personnel, i.e. PEM tech, Mfg POs, etc. on issues and corrective actions

Evaluate/Qualify New Device, Equipment and/or Material

1. Support new device FUT, qualification builds
2. Support new equipment evaluation and qualification builds
3. Support new material (direct or indirect) evaluation and qualification builds

Coordinate Training Requirements and Conduct Training

1. Assist engineers to develop, or coordinate development of, training materials for existing/new process
2. Conduct training for production trainers

Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical/Materials Engineering preferred
• Experience in backend engineering process or package development preferred
• Excellent observation, execution and collaboration with team members
• Ability to make basic sound data-driven decisions. Prioritize and apply due diligence in day-to-day tasks.
• Keen interest in semiconductor engineering
• Required to run day/night shift.
