About the company

We are working with an established mid-market Asian Private Equity firm with a successful track record who are looking to add an Associate/Senior Associate with buy-side experience to their Investment team in SEA.

Key responsibilities

Due Diligence:

• Lead and coordinate comprehensive due diligence processes, including financial modelling, operational, and legal aspects.
• Engage with third-party advisors to ensure thorough due diligence.
• Prepare detailed due diligence reports and present findings to the investment committee.

Transaction Execution:

• Assist in structuring and negotiating investment terms and agreements.
• Support the preparation of investment memos and presentations for the investment committee.
• Manage transaction processes, including documentation and closing procedures.

Market Research and Analysis:

• Conduct thorough market research to identify potential investment opportunities in SEA.
• Analyze industry trends, economic indicators, and competitive landscapes.
• Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on potential investments.

Deal Sourcing and Evaluation:

• Support Senior Management in identifying and sourcing potential investment opportunities through networking, industry events, and market analysis.
• Conduct initial screening and assessment of investment opportunities.
• Perform detailed financial analysis, including modeling, valuation, and scenario analysis.

Portfolio Management:

• Monitor the performance of portfolio companies and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Assist in developing and implementing value creation strategies for portfolio companies.
• Prepare regular portfolio reviews and reports for senior management and investors.

Requirements

• Around 4-6 years of relevant work experience with ideally, 2+ from a private equity firm.
• A bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• Strong stakeholder management.
• Good multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
