Key Responsibilities:
Associate - You will be working actively on all aspects of investments, bolt-on acquisitions for portfolio companies & divestitures.
Vice President - You will join senior investment professionals in investment sourcing, due diligence, execution and portfolio management as well as taking an active role in supporting junior team members.
Director - You will be part of the senior investment professional team to drive investment sourcing, due diligence, execution and portfolio management as well as taking an active role in developing junior team members.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Financial analysis – Create financial models to analyze cash flows, investment returns, and enterprise values for new investment opportunities and existing portfolio companies.
- Investment approval materials – Prepare memos and other approval materials for the Investment Committee.
- Industry research – Conduct research on market size, growth prospects, demand drivers, key competitors, etc.
- Third party diligence – Facilitate diligence activities with third-party partners (e.g., senior lenders, accountants, attorneys, IT consultants, strategy consultants).
- Portfolio management – Assist with ongoing monitoring and ad hoc strategic projects for portfolio companies.
Professional Experience & Qualifications:
- An undergraduate business degree demonstrating academic proficiency.
- 2+ years of total experience for Associates, 6+ years of total experience, preferably with a background on the buy-side for Vice President, 10+ years of total experience, most on the buy-side for Director.
- Background in Investment Banking, Management Consulting or Private Equity.
- Sound business, commercial and investment judgment.
- Analytical with a pragmatic and creative approach to problem solving.
- Strong interpersonal and team skills – strong relationship-building skills with senior team members, colleagues, and senior executives within portfolio companies and acquisition targets.
