Hiring for a Private Equity Associate on behalf of a mid-market private equity firm focusing on growth equity investments in high-potential Technology/B2B software/ digital services companies across Asia. Our investment strategy centers on partnering with innovative, high-growth businesses and providing capital, strategic guidance, and operational expertise to help them scale. With a strong presence across key Asian markets, we are committed to driving long-term value creation.
The ideal candidate will have strong financial modeling skills, a deep understanding of the technology landscape, and experience in investment banking and/or private equity
Key Responsibilities
Investment Sourcing & Evaluation: Identify and assess high-growth Technology/B2B software/ digital services companies across Asia. Conduct market research, industry analysis, and competitive benchmarking.
Financial Analysis & Modeling: Develop detailed financial models, valuation analyses (DCF, precedent transactions, comparables), and scenario planning to support investment decisions.
Due Diligence: Lead financial, commercial, and operational due diligence processes, working closely with advisors, industry experts, and portfolio companies.
Deal Execution: Support the structuring, negotiation, and execution of investment transactions, including term sheet drafting and deal documentation review.
Portfolio Management: Monitor and support portfolio companies by collaborating with management teams on strategy, financial performance, and operational improvements.
Industry & Market Research: Stay up to date on emerging trends in software, SaaS, digital platforms, cloud computing, and AI within the Asian mid-market investment space.
Qualifications & Experience
3-5 years of relevant experience in private equity, growth equity or investment banking, with a focus on technology or software sectors.
Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
Deep understanding of B2B software business models, key SaaS metrics, and digital transformation trends.
Experience working on growth-stage investment transactions, including deal structuring and due diligence.
Ability to synthesize complex information, generate investment theses, and present to senior stakeholders.
Entrepreneurial mindset with strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
