As a Private Banker, you will be responsible for advising ultra-high net worth individuals or families on building, preservation, and management of their wealth. Utilizing your expertise in investments, financial planning, credit, and banking, you will provide comprehensive advice to current clients while also driving new client acquisition.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, originate, develop, and maintain client relationships, especially with sizeable accounts with high visibility or complex needs.
Maintain relationships with clients by earning trust, thoroughly understanding client needs, providing tailored financial advice, developing thoughtful solutions, and delivering an exceptional client experience.
Maintain communication with clients to assess needs and risk profiles.
Prospect potential clients and promote the bank’s products and services through active business development.
Prepare client account documentation, transaction documentation, general instructions, and credit proposals.
Ensure compliance with the Bank’s policies as well as regulatory and legal requirements.
Assume any other tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
Minimum 10 years of proven experience in Private Banking, specifically focusing on the ultra-high net worth market. Additional certification such as CACS is mandatory.
Demonstrated track record in revenue generation and an existing portfolio of strong relationships with ultra-high net worth clients. Customer-oriented, self-motivated, and detail-oriented. Proactive problem-solver who takes initiative and utilizes critical thinking. Strong organizational skills with a disciplined and methodical approach to business.
Dynamic and credible professional with exceptional presentation skills and communicates with clarity.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and stressful environment.
Extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of equity and fixed income markets, as well as alternative investments such as hedge funds, private equity, and real estate.
Proficiency in English required, and French would be an advantage (Large potential clients are French speaking).
