The Investment Manager is a primary point of contact for clients to access the entire suite of investment capabilities, insights and solutions offered by Deutsche Bank Private Bank. This is achieved by working in close partnership with the Relationship Manager in the day-to-day planning and servicing for the client. The individual leverages the insight and expertise of the Deutsche Bank Private Bank Chief Investment Office and the global and regional investment committees to provide advice around long-term thematic investment opportunities, short-term tactical trades and asset allocation. The Investment Manager employs a wide range of asset classes and capabilities, leveraging the knowledge from dedicated product specialists, to address clients' needs holistically, including lending and financing, deposits, discretionary and advisory portfolio management solutions, capital markets, private markets, alternative investments and wealth planning. Investment Manager will have accountability for total investment AUM, revenue, asset retention and contribution towards business mix goals.

Your key responsibilities:

• Team lead for sub team within SEA Investment - handling centralized / pooled client accounts

• Able to multitask handling day-to-day client updates, trade placements and support with SEA Investment Team on investment updates

• Act as the central point of contact for clients' investment needs / advice / order placement services and be responsible for increasing share of wallet from a pool of existing clients

• Work in a team and as a team to provide investment support and investment advisory depending on clients' suitability and risks appetite.

• Partner up with the Relationship Managers to serve clients across a defined portfolio

• Provide DB Macro and Investment Updates to client regularly in a consistent manner

• Collaborate with the relationship manager on account behavior and flag relevant updates, and on input for KYC

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as products, operations and compliance team to ensure seamless DB investment service

• Act within professional, legal and ethical boundaries and guidelines, observing all internal and external compliance regulations and code of ethics and conduct; flagging and managing reputational risks and conflicts issues

Your skills and experience:

• 3 or more years of relevant investment experience and in portfolio construction and asset allocation, with knowledge and understanding of private clients and U/HNWI client needs

• Fluent in delivering a capital market outlook from both an investment strategist's view (i.e., top down) and a manager's view (i.e., bottom up) with the purpose of articulating why suggested allocations and solutions are appropriate for a given investment objective and market environment

• Experienced in communication & collaboration skills in leading investment discussions in one-on-one meetings and small groups.

• Attentive to details, data maintenance and experience in Excel macro is a plus

• Have a good understanding of the governing regulatory framework (e.g. RDR, MiFID II, etc.), including but not limited to applicable confidentiality / secrecy / data protection regulations and cross border rules where relevant

• Opportunistic/idea-driven investing

• Relevant local licenses and qualifications

• Minimum a Bachelor degree

• Self-starter and ability to work with teams across different locations

• Willing and able to develop other staff, e.g., analysts

Role is required to be performed on-site at One Raffles Quay office. Relevant vaccination requirement applies.
