Printing Machine Operator

Tasks & responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate both printing and finishing machines efficiently.
• Ensure all machines are functioning properly and maintain high-quality production output.
• Identify and resolve minor machine issues to ensure smooth production flow.
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and carry out basic repairs on printing and finishing machines to ensure smooth operations and minimise downtime.
• Inspect printed and finished materials for defects to ensure they meet company standards.
• Work carefully to minimise errors and maintain high precision in production.
• Accurately update and maintain job task statuses in the ERP system to track production progress.
• Monitor stock levels of printing and finishing materials, reporting replenishment needs.
• Manage multiple print projects simultaneously with strong time management skills.
• Work closely with the team to meet production deadlines and maintain workflow efficiency.

Qualifications & experience

• Experience in printing or machine operation is a plus, but training will be provided.
• Basic proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Microsoft Office, and MacOS.
• Basic mechanical skills to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot printing and finishing machines.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure print accuracy and minimize errors.
• Ability to update and manage job tasks using the ERP system.
• Physically fit to handle printing materials and operate machinery safely.
• Excellent multitasking and time management skills to handle multiple projects efficiently.
• Positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, and a willingness to learn.

Working Hours
9.30am - 6.30pm: Monday to Friday
9.30am - 1.30pm: Saturday
