Principal/Senior R&D Mechanical Engineer

THE COMPANY
Our Client is a renowned organisation in the Medical Device industry with a strong presence in APAC and Singapore. They are looking for a Principal/Senior R&D Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Singapore, reporting to the R&D Director.

THE ROLE

The Principal/Senior R&D Mechanical Engineer is responsible for:

• Mechanical Design of new product development and oversee full Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) from conceptualization to finished product
• In-charge of managing cost, quality, design, and productivity for assigned projects
• Conduct design reviews and FMEAs to minimize any risks of potential failures

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Mechanical Design for full Product Lifecycle
• Experience in working with Electro-Mechanical components will be a plus
