Principal/Senior R&D Mechanical Engineer

THE COMPANY
Our Client is a renowned organisation in the Medical Device industry with a strong presence in APAC and Singapore. They are looking for a Principal/Senior R&D Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Singapore, reporting to the R&D Director.

THE ROLE
The Principal/Senior R&D Mechanical Engineer is responsible for:

1. Mechanical Design of new product development and oversee full Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) from conceptualization to finished product.
2. In-charge of managing cost, quality, design, and productivity for assigned projects.
3. Conduct design reviews and FMEAs to minimize any risks of potential failures.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in Mechanical Design for full Product Lifecycle.
3. Experience in working with Electro-Mechanical components will be a plus.
