The Edge Datacenter Marketing group is responsible for enabling a successful Go-To-Market motion, with key focus placed on customer acquisition, revenue growth, and profitability across the entire portfolio. This team works cross-functionally to define both current and future business strategies, setting the direction for market leadership across all Edge Datacenter verticals.

Seagate’s VIA & Surveillance storage solutions support critical data infrastructure across industries, enabling high-performance and reliable data storage for Security and AI-driven applications. Our team focuses on driving product innovation, lifecycle management, and alignment with market needs to maintain Seagate’s leadership in the VIA & Surveillance sectors. About the role - you will:

You will be responsible for leading the global market strategy for the VIA and Surveillance storage portfolio. This role demands a strategic leader who can think ahead to build industry aligned go-to-market strategies, manage direct and indirect route-to-market channels, and work collaboratively across global teams to ensure business growth and market leadership.

In this role, you will oversee and influence global market strategies, guiding product positioning and requirements while driving business development, channel engagement, and alliances to strengthen the VIA & Surveillance Storage business. You will drive alignment across all regions and collaborate with other verticals, ensuring consistency and growth across the portfolio while identifying new opportunities to advance the business.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as the subject matter expert for VIA & Surveillance storage solutions, ensuring alignment with customer and market needs.
  • Developing and executing a product roadmap that supports Seagate’s leadership in the VIA & Surveillance segments.
  • Leading product lifecycle management, including product introductions, transitions, and end-of-life planning in line with internal product roadmap requirements.
  • Collaborating with Technical Marketing to define technical requirements, features, and performance targets.
  • Working closely with sales and marketing teams to develop go-to-market (GTM) strategies and customer messaging.
  • Partnering with finance and pricing teams to identify market driven price to value models based on product positioning, cost structure, and profitability.

Key Success Measures:

  • Product adoption and market penetration rates.
  • Revenue, margin dollars, and market share growth.
  • Execution of product roadmap milestones and successful product launches.

About you:

  • Understanding of customer needs in the VIA & Surveillance storage market, including AI-driven applications and security infrastructure.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with sales, channel and technical marketing teams to drive alignment on product strategy.
  • Experience in defining and managing complex product roadmaps and lifecycle transitions.

Your experience includes:

  • 7+ years of experience in product management, ideally within the storage, security, or surveillance industries.
  • Knowledge of storage architectures, HDD/SSD technologies, and cloud-based storage solutions.
  • Proven ability to drive successful product launches and lifecycle management strategies.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools like Tableau.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment.
  • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
