Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Principal to lead our early childhood education centre. The ideal candidate will combine strong educational leadership with operational excellence to create an engaging, safe, and nurturing environment for children's learning and development. This role offers the opportunity to shape the educational journey of young learners while leading a dedicated team of educators.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide and support teachers in implementation of MapleBear curriculum
• Ensure compliance with ECDA regulations and maintain all necessary licensing requirements
• Ensure safety and well-being of children and staff at the centre
• Oversee centre operations, including staff scheduling, enrolment, and facility maintenance
• Maintain strong relationships with parents and implement effective engagement strategies
• Support directors in enrolment growth and staff recruitment
• Manage budgets and resources efficiently

Requirements

• Advanced Diploma in Early Childhood Centre Leadership (ADECL)
• Minimum 4 years of trained teaching and management experience
• Strong understanding of early childhood development and pedagogical approaches
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work well with people
