PRINCIPAL ENGINEER / MEMBER OF TECHNICAL STAFF (MTS)- OCT FE PEE WET PROCESS

Responsibilities:

1. Strategize and lead yield improvement engagement with global sites and network team via process optimization, new/FOAK chemistry & technology qualification, CIP development collaboration with suppliers.
2. Collaborate with cross functional team for breakthrough in defects reduction and particle removal efficiency enhancements.
3. Develop roadmap for process and hardware CIP implementation.
4. Drive process & hardware improvement development with an emphasis on safety, defect reduction, cost efficiency, scale, quality, and sustainability in Wet Process (SWC, Bench, Scrub, Backside, Bevel, etc.).
5. Collaborate with suppliers to establish equipment start-up acceptance criteria and tool service requirements, and work with global facilities to address new tool requirements.
6. Improve tool efficiency and utilization across all Micron sites through benchmarking and innovative pathfinding solutions.
7. Set up IoT sensors for defense line strengthening in Wet tools and develop new solutions for excursion prevention.
8. Establish and improve process conditions and technology, upgrade process capability, and reduce production costs.
9. Enable new solutions for energy savings, water conservation and waste reductions.

Qualifications & Skills:

1. Proven experience in hardware improvement and development within the semiconductor industry.
2. Remarkable skill in developing and implementing hardware CIP roadmaps and start-up acceptance criteria.
3. Strong analytical skills for evaluating, promoting, and planning new equipment and materials.
4. Tangible results in boosting tool performance, establishing process parameters, and streamlining process management projects.
5. Ability to strictly adhere to safety, quality, and sustainability standards while driving innovative solutions.

Education and Experience:

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
2. Extensive experience in semiconductor equipment and process management in Wet Process.
3. Proven track record in maturing tool performance and establishing process parameters for semiconductor equipment.
4. Experience in abnormal analysis and improvement, and a solid history of successful project implementation.
