Principal Business Analyst

The Principal Business Analyst acts as a bridge between business requirements and AI technology, identifying opportunities for AI-driven solutions, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring alignment of AI projects with business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Agentic Flow Architecting & Implementation: Spearhead the development of AI-driven 'agentic flows' that streamline decision-making and automation within complex systems. Deliver robust, end-to-end solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing tech stacks, driving efficiency, scalability, and innovation in enterprise environments.
• Requirement Gathering: Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business needs, identify bottlenecks, and uncover fresh AI implementation opportunities that drive innovation and efficiency. Add value to business users by proposing re-designed workflows enabled by such AI initiatives after initial development of MVP (Minimum Viable Product).
• Solution Design: Architect and implement AI solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and stakeholder expectations.
• Collaboration: Work with data scientists, engineers, and business users, fostering a cohesive environment where AI solutions are integrated seamlessly.
• AI Strategy Development: Keep a pulse on emerging AI trends, cutting-edge tools, and industry best practices. Proactively recommend transformative applications of AI to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
• Project & Process Management
  
  • Project Coordination: Own the end-to-end management of AI projects, from scope definition to final delivery. Maintain detailed project plans and ensure cross-functional teams stay on track.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Present complex AI concepts in digestible formats for leadership and non-technical audiences, fostering buy-in and transparency across the organization.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify potential challenges in AI adoption—such as data quality, model drift, or regulatory constraints—and craft mitigation strategies to keep initiatives on course.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Candidates with Diplomas in relevant fields and strong industry experience may be considered.
• Minimum 1-3 years of relevant work experience in business analysis, data analytics, or AI-driven solutions.
• Candidates with lesser years of experience will be considered for the Senior Business Analyst position instead.
• Experience leading cross-functional AI projects is a plus.
• Programming: Proficiency in Python, and relevant big data tools.
• Prompt Engineering: Proficiency in prompt engineering, and agentic workflow.
• AI models: Good understanding of existing models and its areas of application, with a proven ability to implement these solutions.
• Strong Communication & Presentation: Ability to simplify technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving & Analytical Thinking: Capability to break down complex business problems and propose AI solutions.
• Collaboration & Teamwork: Work effectively across departments, facilitating AI adoption.
• Project Management: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Adaptability & Learning: Stay updated with evolving AI technologies.
• While certifications are not mandatory, the following are highly valued:

  • Foundational or advanced AI/ML certifications (e.g., reputable online course providers or professional organizations)
