Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Unearth and unveil new tech tools to amplify the digital capabilities of the NUS community, proposing solutions and ensuring their implementation aligns with our strategic objectives.
  • Craft training materials and lead training sessions for staff, empowering them to utilize new tools effectively.
  • Create instructional videos and other communication materials to fuel ongoing learning and engagement among staff members.
  • Contribute to organizing events centered around digital engagement, fostering a culture of continuous growth and learning within the NUS community.
  • Deliver support for our digital tools through scheduled clinic sessions, addressing user questions and challenges.
  • Ensure that all activities align with NUS policies and the university's strategy.

Qualifications

  • A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related tech field.
  • Proven experience in creating and conducting training programs that enhance digital skills within a community.
  • Experience in creating multimedia content like instructional videos for communication and engagement initiatives.
  • Strong organizational skills in planning and assisting with events focused on technology engagement and learning.
  • Experience in delivering one-on-one support sessions or clinics for users.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a role covering digital support, including user assistance and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, especially in explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, able to connect with management, users, and vendors.
  • A team player who thrives in collaborative environments but can also work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proactive, quick to learn, highly organized, and maintains a positive attitude.
  • Bonus points for project management experience and knowledge of the Higher Education industry.
