Preschool Teacher needed

Implement developmentally appropriate teaching, learning and caregiving activities aligned to the relevant curricula frameworks.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct learning needs assessment.
2. Engage children meaningfully in accordance with the curriculum and pedagogical frameworks.
3. Implement classroom management strategies.
4. Enhance the learning environment with developmentally appropriate learning materials and resources.
5. Apply health, safety, nutritional, and hygiene practices in accordance with standards and procedures.
6. Document children’s learning and development.
7. Build rapport with colleagues in accordance with the Centre’s strategies and policies to foster positive workplace relations.
8. Collaborate with families to ensure continuity of care and learning between the home and the Centre.
9. Execute outreach activities to promote the Centre programmes and services.
10. Execute collaborative projects with families and community stakeholders.
11. Propose areas for improvements for family and community initiatives and programmes.
12. Conduct caregiving assessment.
13. Provide caregiving in accordance with standards and procedures.
14. Identify areas for improvements in caregiving routines.
15. Implement appropriate teaching and caregiving methods based on emerging sector trends, technologies and tools.
16. Identify areas for improvements for professional practice.
17. Participate in professional development and service quality improvement activities.
18. Demonstrate behaviour that is aligned with the Centre’s vision, mission, and values.
