Job Description
Plans, setup and evaluates the learning environment (physical, daily schedule, as well as social emotional environment) so as to meet the children’s developmental need both as a group and individually.
Plans, prepares and implements holistic activities while being a good role model of positive values and character traits placing emphasis on the teaching and demonstrating the MY World four core values: caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.
Regularly observes, assesses and compiles the development and progress of individual children into reports for parents.
Takes initiative to develop and sustain good teacher-parent relationship by maintaining close parent contacts on a regular basis. Works with individual children’s families to understand their expectations and involve them in setting goals for the children.
Ensures open and positive communication with parents through letters, newsletters, etc.
Attends, shares information and participates in staff meetings in order to discuss the implementation of the overall programme, pool ideas and resources, reinforce competence and boost one another’s confidence.
