Preschool Centre Principal

Roles and responsibilities, including:

• Managing operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the preschool, including ensuring compliance with regulations and guidelines.
• Leading staff: Mentor teachers on teaching and caring for children, and guide their professional development.
• Creating a safe environment: Ensure the preschool is safe and hygienic for children and staff.
• Managing enrollment: Manage the center's enrollment and student capacity.
• Developing curriculum: Plan and implement curriculum and programs, and design quality teaching and learning approaches.
• Building relationships: Establish and maintain positive communication with parents and the school community.
• Managing finances: Prepare a budget, control expenditures, and manage cash disbursement.
• Leading strategic direction: Lead the development of the center's strategic priorities, culture, and governance.
• Organizing events: Organize school events to support cultural, festive, and racial harmony events.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Early Childhood Education & Diploma in Pre-school Education – Leadership and Training (DPE-L/T) or equivalent recognised by Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA).
• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in managing Pre-school Centres.
• Minimum 1 year of teaching experience.
• Supervisory experience with good communication and customer service skills.
• Computer literate.

Able to start work within short notice will be highly advantageous.
