Responsibilities
Manages the Luxury Automotive brands external communications across the region, working with local teams to strengthen brand reputation, drive the brand's business priorities/direction, and mitigate external risks.
Public Relations and events management. Scope will cover 8 regional markets in Asia, frequent communication with Japan, and occasional outreach to other regions. Working cross-functionally with various teams from marketing, operations, and digital.
Brand PR Strategy that covers product launches, lifestyle events, regional message house, and in-market PR events.
Implement results-oriented regional PR programmes and campaigns in close collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders to garner positive public and media opinions of the brand, aligning with main project requirements.
Liaise with various stakeholders to facilitate/manage participation in global media events.
Collate and analyze post-PR activity reports, monitor media coverage.
Develop media relationships, pitch stories, and coordinate interviews.
Develop content and messaging for spokespersons and media (pitch, briefing documents, Q&A, etc.).
Write, edit, and review all media content and press releases for public syndication.
Secondary role will include coordination with HQ and other functions on related communications.
Support to develop, implement, oversee, and manage internal communications efforts.
Represent the region's voice in global meetings.
Handle and perform administrative work.
Planning and execution of customer and leadership events (Ad Hoc).
Requirements
Degree with 1-2 years of working experience in Automotive industry or Marketing agencies, Public Relations, or Communications.
No experience welcome to apply as on-the-job training provided.
Strong oral, written, and presentation skills in English; other Asian languages and Japanese is a plus (to liaise with Japan HQ).
Able to translate difficult and complex topics into sound bites and newsworthy stories for media pick-up.
Passionate about automotive products and/or knowledgeable with technical language.
Can effectively manage projects across multiple stakeholders (headquarter, distributors & vendors): takes initiative and ownership to ensure quality results delivered on time and on budget (or below).
Event management skills to coordinate media tours and press conferences.
Detail-oriented, comfortable with numbers, and capable of analyzing data for management reporting.
Competency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Possess a valid Class 3 driving license.
Hybrid work arrangements available, and some travel is expected.
5 days a week, Jap MNC.
