Roles & Responsibilities

• Supports Market CFO in benchmarking, track performance of all Gas assets and identify optimization initiatives to improve performance. Work with the respective heads to deliver the middle term targets set.
• Constantly identify key drivers in the operating assets, develop tools to track the P&L.
• Work with overseas Gas & related services CFOs and other related business in Singapore to assess the performance, potential risks impacting performance and opportunities to optimise performance.
• Review and clear all investment and contracts put up before submission to IDC, Exco or SCI Board for approval.
• Perform monthly consolidated financial reporting for the GAS Line of Business (LOB), highlighting and tracking the levers and drivers to meet the budget/forecast.
• Perform quarterly and yearly budget to ensure key assumptions input into the forecast and budget is robust and achievable.
• Helps the GAS LOB set the yearly Balance Score Card (BSC), track and work out lever to achieve the targets set for the year.
• Develop the Board Strategy targets together with the Heads.
• Constantly review the GAS LOB funding needs, projected returns simulation to identify opportunities.
• Perform Post-Investment Review (PIR) for completed projects as a Finance Lead.
• Participates in green and brownfield M&A acquisition projects on an ad-hoc basis.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Business Administration or Accountancy (CFA or CA preferred) with at least 10 years of managerial position;
• Have done at least 5 years of investment evaluation and performance analysis.
• Having oil and gas experience (preferred)

Skills / Competencies & Preferred Characteristics

• Strong financial modelling skill and investment evaluation.
• Good understanding of accounting and group consolidation.
• Strong in MS Excel and Powerpoint skills (able to develop financial model and prepare presentation information).
• Resourceful and able to search for market information independently.
• Strong commercial and structured analytical skills, attention to detail.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude to perform data analysis and resolve complex problems.
• Keen developer of digitalising the analysis work.
• Good leadership, business oriented with ability to communicate and handle all levels including senior management.
• Excellent written, oral communication and interpersonal skills.
